There is a lot of Torah out there.
How can you know if my classes are for you?
Before I introduce the library, I want to share what Torah means to me so you can understand the heart behind every shiur and see whether this derech speaks to you.
Did someone say growth, self-actualization, connection to our eternal and infinite soul, or living life with passion and vibrancy?
All this is Torah.
כי היא חיינו ואורך ימינו
Torah is our connection to life itself.
ישראל, אורייתא וקוב״ה חד
to learn Torah is to connect to the Source of life, to Hashem Himself.
הנה נתתי לפניך את החיים ואת הטוב
Hashem gave us the most beautiful gift of all: His love, His light, Himself.
Every Yid has a unique chelek in Torah. Chazal teach that there are 600,000 letters — 600,000 paths of connection. Let me share mine.
Since childhood I have felt an insatiable thirst to understand and to come close to Hashem.
As a teenager, Hashem blessed me with a stepfather and first Rebbe, Harav Yehuda Jacobs zatzal, Mashgiach of Lakewood Yeshiva and a talmid of Harav Aharon Kotler. His warmth and wisdom guided my searching heart and taught me that Torah must be lived, not only learned.
Whether learning bekius, iyun, or mussar, my question was always the same: how can this Torah become part of me.
I had no patience for intellectualism that did not transform life. Torah had to breathe, to move through the heart and the body, and to bring me closer to Hashem.
No matter what I learned, I was never satisfied with information alone.
When learning bekius, I asked how I could truly remember this.
When learning iyun, I searched for the essence of the sugya.
And when learning personal growth, mussar, chassidus, philosophy, or later psychology, I asked how this could help me become the person the Torah describes.
Torah must refine the heart, clarify the mind, and transform daily living.
That drive to apply Torah still runs through everything I teach.
In time, Hashem led me to extraordinary teachers.
In Eretz Yisrael, I merited to learn by Harav Yitzchok Soloveitchik shlita.
When I asked him the question that had followed me for years, “What is a chalos?”, he answered without hesitation.
I did not yet understand the words, but I knew I had found a Rebbe for life.
Decades later, his example of uncompromising dedication, responsibility, and commitment to excellence in Torah continues to guide my learning and teaching.
I was privileged to learn from Harav Moshe Shapira zatzal, who opened a world where lomdus, machshava, mussar, and chassidus merged into one breathtaking vision of the Infinite.
He revealed how Torah speaks to every part of the human being, mind, heart, and soul, and how it brings the light of the Infinite into every dimension of life.
Since childhood, one bias has guided me:
How can this Torah bring me closer to Hashem?
How can it help me live awake, alive, and aligned?
In every shiur, I try to uncover the deeper meaning behind mitzvos and maamarei Chazal, to reveal how Torah speaks to our daily lives, our relationships, our emotions, and our journey toward Hashem.
Each class is an invitation to live our best lives and to partner with the Borei Olam in bringing the world toward its ultimate destiny.
Soul Psyche was born from this same thirst, to make Torah felt, not only understood.
It is the bridge between the Beis Midrash and the heart, where psychology serves Torah by helping us remove the inner blocks that keep us from receiving its light.
The shiurim here are one expression of that mission.
The Sparks help us reflect on life.
The Seminars help us transform.
And the TorahAnytime Library helps us learn deeply, joyfully, and practically.
Torah is not an idea about life.
It is life itself , the Divine blueprint from which all existence flows.
Each word reveals the hidden architecture of the universe, the root of the soul, and the purpose of creation.
To learn Torah is to meet Hashem in the deepest way and to align our finite minds with His Infinite wisdom.
Through its brilliance, the mind expands, the heart awakens, and the soul reconnects to its Source.
There is no greater pleasure than the joy of understanding when Divine truth settles gently into the heart.
